First Fall-ish Day

Time seems to be moving at warp speed these days & with football and other fall activities starting to fill our weekends, it was nice to have a few days staying pretty close to home and enjoying some down time.

It rained most of Saturday, which made the decision to skip tailgating & the 11:30am game an easy one. We opted to watch the first half at our house while D napped, then packed a smaller cooler and hopped over the the Elliott's to watch the second half.

All the rain we got on Saturday made for an absolutely beautiful Sunday!  It was the first fall-ish day and the temps were perfect for spending some time outside. We were up early and headed out to get some fresh air at Lake Ella. D loves to be outside and is such an observant little guy so all the people, ducks, cars, etc. around the lake were right up his ally. After a quick stop at Starbucks, we headed home for some more outside play (aka rides in his cozy truck), lunch, naps and football. It was exactly what a Sunday should be.
