Treasure Island

This past weekend we ventured down to Treasure Island to visit Didi & Pops (and Mango!). Friday night we attempted a quick beach trip to watch the sunset, but it was too windy & chilly, so we ended up watching the sunset from the truck, before making our way home for some of my dads famous spaghetti & good (good!) wine! After a yummy breakfast on Saturday so we spent a couple hours over on the beach, walking the boardwalk and taking in the mini Kite festival. The weather was spectacular!
 

Later in the afternoon, we hung by the pool before picking up dinner at a local place and hanging at home. The following morning, before we left town, we met my sister, Katie and her hubby Chris for breakfast. It was so good to catch up with them! We are so lucky that Dayton travels so well. As long as he can sleep & eat along the way, he does great in the car. We love getting to spend time with our families and even though we have parents in four different cities, we feel so blessed that we see them all as much as we do! It's always a blast!
