Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Friday night we attended the rehersal dinner at Luigino's on Staten Island. The food was delish!

After dinner we walked next door for a drink at Play, before heading back to the hotel.

The following day, was the wedding day! We rested at the hotel all day before getting ready to head over to The Vanderbilt at South Beach for Rachel & Jayson's wedding!

It was a jewish ceremony and a Yarmulke was provided for the men when we arrived. The Rabi performed the ceremony in both Hebrew and in English. It was really cool to see the traditions of a Jewish wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony we moved into another room for cocktail hour.

After cocktail hour they re-opened the doors {where the ceremony was} and it had been transformed into the reception site.  Everything was beautiful!

Yes, the cake had lights!

The bride and groom danced to Eternal Flame, which I thought was great!

The food was amazing. Hubby and I both had the Filet Mignon. :)  After eating we spent the rest of the night dancing and taking pics in the photo booth! We had so much fun getting dressed up in the props they provided.

{I'll have to get the rest of pics from the photo booth scanned and uploaded another time..they are hysterical!}

After the wedding we headed back to the hotel! After all we drank and ate at the wedding we were ready for bed!

Congrats Rachel & Jayson!
